The Tree Farm community is a 100 acre housing development of 50 homesites located in northwest Bend, west of NorthWest Crossing, and to the north of Tetherow. The whole area has a wooded high desert feel with lots of open spaces (400 acres) mixed in and around the homes which border on US Forest Serve land. There’s an expansive trail network throughout this neighborhood which makes for easy access to hiking, running, mountain biking, dog walking, and other outdoor activities. The Tree Farm is recognized for having put in place a proactive forest fire prevention and fire suppression strategy to keep the neighborhood safe from forest fires.
